Send the detail that needs a second look
If a CSC guide contains an error, use our contact form. Include the article URL, the sentence or section in question, the correction you suggest and a source where possible. Reports about outdated compatibility information should identify the relevant software and game build.
How we review a report
The editorial team checks the report against the cited material and any new primary sources. We may need more context to distinguish a factual error from a different setup or a provider's changing claim. We do not promise a response time that we cannot consistently meet.
Small fixes and substantial changes
Spelling, formatting and broken-link fixes may be made without a prominent correction note. Changes to a conclusion, feature description or meaningful technical claim should be noted in the article. The update date changes when the substance changes.
Keeping a record
Article edits are saved to an internal revision history. This lets the editorial team inspect earlier versions and document what changed. Reader contact details remain private and are not added to a public correction unless permission has been given.
When a source no longer supports a claim
We revise or remove the claim, explain remaining uncertainty and archive material that no longer serves readers. A provider status message from an earlier date is not evidence of current compatibility.
